What else do you want? A bookish yet intrepid secretary? A gay hairdresser? A shy middle-aged mechanic who’s somehow the perfect man? You’ve got it. It’s all here. All I want in life is an endless supply of No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. Please, HBO, let there be a Season 2!

I love this show, it’s very warm, and funny… this show has to continue, I’m confused as to why it’s not on demand anymore. What do we have to do to keep this show running. This is HBO’s best show. A true family show, with good heart felt people and characters. As oppose to some of the other violent shows HBO airs. No.1 Ladies Detective Agency brings balance to the HBO series. Let’s keep this show running…

Please let there be a season 2….I have the shows on DVR and have watched and re-watched them dozens of time. By now I would have worn out a DVD. Watching this series always leaves me with such a good feeling. The cast is superb.
I, too, wish they would bring #1 Ladies back. They even took the episodes off On-Demand. I am not happy about that…referring people to the show and now it’s gone.
It must return for a second season because I will it so. I luv me some Ms. Scott; she pours such heart into Precious.

There has to be a season 2. This is one production that is even better than the book. The acting is superb and the setting makes it one of my life’s goals to go to Botwana.

I absolutley LOVE this show…I have read all the books and was a little worried that HBO would not do the books justice….boy did i have absolutley nothing to worry about…the series is FANTASTIC! I love Mma. Makutsi and Mma Ramotswe…I am a “proper traditional woman” and tease my fiance’ that if he don’t hurry up and make me LEGAL then i’m going to Botswana where a “proper traditional woman” can be worshiped and adored :)
I have been looking for a place to express my love for this show. It is the one HBO show that I have loved that I don’t have to wait to put my kids down to watch. It is refreshing and the frirst tv series of Africans in Africa. I have been telling everyone I meet about this show. I love Jill Scott!!!

I agree with everyone about this show.I absolutely LOVE it! I just scoured HBO’s website with hopes of finding any info. on a season 2 premiere. No luck : ( however I did send them an e-mail about it….i guess I’ll have to keep my fingers crossed!
This is such a refreshing program to watch. It’s not weighed down by too much sex and violence. It’s a very wholesome show and I for one just LOVE IT. Please don’t keep us hanging; let there be a season 2.
I am truly a BIG fan of this program. I’ve purchased the DVD set of the first season, and I can’t stop watching it during my free time. I look forward to season #2. Yes, I said I look forward to watchinhg the new season…we have to believe in positive thinking which will bring results !

This is the most “Precious” show ever and would benefit all human kind to watch it. I pray that HBO will give us a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc., season. I agree with everyone above. With the facebook fans heading to almost 12,500, begging for a second season, let’s hope that the producers will come up with an idea that agrees with them and Ms. Scott. She is wonderful and the show can be rewatched dozens of times without ever failing to be enjoyable. The fans have the books, but it would be ashame not to have Jill Scott give us her fine performance with more stories from the series. She is a wonderful performer to watch and listen to. Her smile brings the character to life.
This show has absolutely captured my heart. Seeing a show like this, with Africa as it’s backdrop, has given me a desire to see this part of the world.
What must we do to get the point over to HBO. This show must come back for several more seasons.

I loved the show! I lived in Africa growing up and if you want to know what Africa is like, this is Africa. The show captures the essense of the African culture and people. Bring the show back HBO! This show makes me a little less homesick.
Please bring this show back for as many seasons as there are books to the series. The books and the series are wonderful. I gave series one of the No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency to my sisters for Christmas gifts and they loved it! My brother and his family watched and taped the series. Season 2, please!
My husband and I both enjoyed the 1st season and are looking forward to a 2nd season. This is a very good show for the whole family. We love this and want more.

I gave series one of the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency to family and friends for Christmas and they loved it. They are hooked. I found out about the show from the ladies I work with. I really hope that there will be a Season 2.

I have loved reading all the books and I’ve been loving the TV series which has only just arrived in Australia; it’s so true to the novels. Now I’ve purchased Season 1 on DVDs. I’ve also attended some exciting Book Readings with Alexander McCall Smith, both in Edinburgh and Sydney. Can’t get enough of Mma Ramotswe. Please let there be a season 2!!!!!
I LOVE THE SHOW TOO! IM JUST TWENTY AND I WONT WATCH ANYTHING ON TV BUT RE-RUNS OF THIS THAT I RECORDED. I WANT TO SEE SEASON 2 WHEN THE MECHANIC AND MMA RAMOTSWE GOT MARRIED ! I HATE TELEVISION, ITS JUST MONSTEROUS CRAP AND EVIL STUFF. I LOVE THIS , AND IF IM GOING TO WATCH TV, ITS GOING TO BE THIS. HBO TAKE SOME OF THE CRAP OFF AND PUT THIS BACK ON THE AIR! I have been waiting for months to find out if the detective and the mechanic will marry and if the maid’s ill will toward the detective caused her any harm. please bring the show back soon
Here it July 2010 & I am still holding my breath that they bring this show back. HBO why do you alway take the Good show off? please be kind & let us all know if you are going to bring this show back or not!!! Then maybe I can try to find another show that I like as much as this one.
I loved this show also .It is just a fantastic picture of how things can and do go wrong in all lives and how she helps people solve their problems. You simply must bring this back for a second season.
We sooooo enjoyed season 1 and want to see many more episodes of this fabulous show. The characters are just that – characters with lots of “color”, not their skin, but that’s beautiful too! Let me know when it’s scheduled:-)

My husband and I enjoyed the #1 ladies detective Agency so much when it was on. I have been listening to all of the audio books Alexander Mccall Smith has writen about the show. I would just love it if they continued where they left off and brought back all of the characters. Mma Ramoutswe has such a big heart and cares so much about Botswana that I have been entrigued to look them up on the map and learn more about the area. Please, please bring back the show!
