Audrey May Erickson

Given their current position in the Animal Coolness Hierarchy (or ACH) it’s kind of hard to believe that cats were once revered as deities, entombed as equals alongside the rulers of nations rather than ensnared as proxies for human affection in the collective too-tight embrace of socially awkward obsessives across the country.
The paintings of Audrey Erickson could very well be viewed as emblematic of a resurgence in kitties’ social prestige, a kind of Feline Re-Mystification Project (or FRuMP) to restore their supernatural aura of mystery and casual grace. Oh! And lazers, gotta have some lazers in there too. In any case, one hopes that the neon glow of Erickson’s work will illuminate for her audience some of the fantastical aspects of these remarkable creatures which have been obscured by so many years of domesticated familiarity.

The text excludes very many readers due to the… language, its just trying too hard, takes the fun away from the fabulous paintings- Keep it simple, you know?
Aaser didn’t go to college, it’d seem. The language is fine.
